Upon completion of this course, the learners are expected to be able to: 

• Comprehensively understand the basic provisions of the Data Privacy Act of 2012 and the 2016 Implementing Rules and Regulations;

• Accurately identify the different kinds of information that data subjects hold;

• Acquire useful knowledge in the process & management of one’s data;

• Correctly identify the rules, roles, and rights indicated in the Data Privacy Act and IRR;

• Determine an appropriate plan of action when data has been compromised.
