Gender Inclusivity for a Progressive Community

When we talk about gender, several different ideas come up in our minds. Its's something we've grown up to see in our families, friends, in the community, and in the media. Although we may have our own understandings of what gender is, it is still worth trying to recognize what it actually is. We may not realize it, but our gender has surely played a big role in our lives.

This reflective and introspective self-paced course is designed to educate you about what gender is, what gender roles are and how they came about, the gender stereotypes and biases that we observe in society, and what you can do as an individual, to promote gender equality in your own simple way.

As a foundational course, young adults (from senior high school students), to career professionals, to parents, grandparents, and guardians providing care and moral guidance to younger generations will benefit from this course by developing greater self-awareness on the concepts surrounding gender, and growing the appreciation for how gender-inclusive behaviors and practices can build and sustain transformative and progressive communities.
