Operation at home!

It's quite hard to think of just one thing that makes an individual unique because often, people are different because of the combination of their different attributes.

But I'd say one thing that makes me unique is: I already had a medical operation at the comfort of my own home. I don't think that's something common! I think a medical operation on your own bed at home and not at the hospital is something only a few can experience in their lifetime. :)

Hi Ms. Viana!

I noticed there was a "squishy lump" on the midsection of my left foot so I asked my father who happens to be a doctor, what it is. He said it was a ganglion cyst and recommended that we take it out! The cyst itself is not harmful as it is non-cancerous but since it was bothering me, he suggested that I could have it removed if I wanted. Since he's a medical practitioner himself, he had many co-doctor friends so he easily asked one of his friends to do my operation... at home! Hahaha! It wasn't that complicated that's why we could do it at home. :)

It's true when they say operations don't hurt because of the anesthetic solution injected, but you do feel when instruments are moving in and out! :))

My mom had that because she used to play badminton excessively. It looked scary but she said it didn't hurt. I used to play with the cyst when I was a kid coz I remember it could move under her skin HAHA. Meron din palang ganglion cyst sa paa! Interesting hehe
